Efek Penghambatan Beberapa Fraksi Ekstrak Buah Mengkudu terhadap Shigella dysenteriae

Abtract Noni (Morinda citrifolia L) was knew as traditional plant medicine that could eliminating some diseases. This research aimed to study the inhibitory effect of Noni fruit extracts on Shigella dysenteriae; shigellosis bacteria (bacillary dysentery). Extraction used fractionation with acetone, n-Hexane, ethyl ether and ethyl acetate solvents. Inhibition test used dilution method at 0�control), 2�4�8�nd 16�xtract concentrations, with total colonies of S. dysenteriae as parameter. Data was statistical analyzed used One-Way ANOVA and Duncan post hoc with significance level at 0,05. Research showed that the crude extracts content from fractionation about 0,0195 – 1,1024� Noni fruit extracts showed inhibition effect equal with extracts concentration and the highest inhibition showed at 16�thyl ether fraction.
